Allajia was one of the first nations to recognize the Kingdom of Abbasid. Relations between Abbasid and Allajia have been extremely close since their establishment in 1934. Both sides fought against the Imperials in the Great Adonian War, and Allajia played a large role in Abbasid's 1981 war against Sameshira.

Abbasid was one of the last countries to recognize the Confederation of Asmiriva. Historically, relations between the two nations have been hostile due to Abbasid's support for Kabier dissidents inside Asmiriva. Abbasid has long been wary of Asmiriva's influence over Kabier politics, and has sought to develop regional alliances to counter this.

Okaiken was the first nation to recognize the Kingdom of Abbasid. Abbasid fought against Mitoyagi in the Great Adonian War, but relations have drastically improved since then. Both nations are members of the East Althenian Sphere, and have significant economic and educational ties. Trade between Abbasid and Okaiken amounted to $61.3 billion in 2013, and continues to grow, with Abbasid providing Okaiken with 23% of its oil needs. Sanese influence can also be seen in Abbasid's government, with it's political system modeled after that of Okaiken.

Abbasid provided much diplomatic support to Kwangju during its 11-month civil war. Following the collapse of Kwangju in 1954, Abbasid recognized the democratic Republic of Howan, as the one and only legitimate government of Kwangju. Since the reunification of Kwangju, trade has amounted to $27 billion. As of 2013, there are an estimated 10,000 Kwangju who reside in Abbasid. The exchange of cultural ideals is highly eveident, with the high popularity of K-pop, and the rising demand for Kwangju clothing in Abbasid.

Relations between Abbasid and Bergenstein are deeply historical, having endured a century of constant fluctuating events. However relations rapidly deteriorated during the Bergen Wars, in which Abbasid joined a Althenian-wide coalition against the Bergen Coalition. Currently relations are severed due to Bergenstein's support of insurgent group Al-Sawra in the Islamic State of Esdaad.

Both countries have enjoyed friendly relations since the Great Adonian War, and Abbasid supports Calibria's claims over Kariko.

Relastova was one of the first nations to recognize Abbasid, and direct relations were established in 1934. Relations deteriorated in 1945, and Abbasid severed relations, refusing to reestablish them. Both nations fought on opposite sides during the Great Adonian War, with Relastova providing much aid to Malo in its war against Abbasid. Relations were eventually reestablished in 1983, and trade between the two nations currently amounts to $21 billion.

Abbasid and Sinope have cooperated greatly on the issue of relations between Central and West Althena, and relations reached their peak when Abbasid joined the Sinopian-led coalition against Bergenstein. However relations became strained to due to Abbasid's refusal to sign the Treaty of Braavos, and the condition of human rights in the Kabier World. Relations were further strained after Sinope's recognition of the breakaway Kariko Republic, and Abbasid's decision to grant asylum to the deposed High King of Bergenstein.
