Abgenel (Abbasid General Electric) is a Abbasidi multinational company that specializes in electricity generation and rail transportation. Founded in 1957, Abgenel originally handled the construction of generators and power plants, before the company aquired the Elisat Construction Company, which handled electric locomotives along with electric and hydraulic equipment. Abgenel along with the Abbasid High Speed Rail Commission and the Abbasidi Railway Organization completed Abbasid's first high speed rail line in 1998. The company is based in Deira, Abbasid.
